Rwanda - Musasa Mbilima

Our coffee from Rwanda is sourced from the award-winning Karengera washing station, which is located in the Nyamasheke district of western Rwanda.

The coffee is grown by smallholder farmers who cultivate their coffee trees at high altitudes of up to 2,200 meters above sea level. The high altitude, combined with the volcanic soil and the cool temperatures, creates a unique flavor profile of raisin and molasses, with notes of dark chocolate.

At our roastery in Cambridgeshire, we carefully roast the coffee to bring out its full potential and highlight its distinct flavors. The result is a delicious coffee that not only tastes great but also supports sustainable farming practices and the livelihoods of local farmers in Rwanda.
